SOUTH BEND, IN — Notre Dame fans can start solidifying their fall weekend plans now. The football program has announced game times and broadcast information for its 2025 home schedule including three primetime matchups, a first for the university since 2018.
Texas A&M will begin the home schedule on Sept. 13, with a 7:30 PM ET kickoff on NBC. This game is the second of the two schools’ home-and-home series, with the Irish winning last year’s matchup 23-14 in College Station.
Following the Aggies will be in-state rival Purdue on Sept. 20 at 3:30 PM ET on NBC. The last meeting with the Boilermakers occurred in 2024, a 66-7 Irish victory. It will mark the second-consecutive season in which the Irish have faced Purdue in Game 3 of the season to battle for the Shillelagh Trophy. Notre Dame holds a 60-26-2 advantage in the series.
Notre Dame returns home on Oct. 4 for the first of three straight games in South Bend. Boise State begins the homestand with their first game ever against the Irish. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 PM ET on NBC. Dating back to the 2013 season, the Irish are 6-1 in first-time meetings with opponents in Notre Dame Stadium. NC State will follow on Oct. 11, which will be broadcast exclusively on Peacock starting at 3:30 PM ET. Notre Dame will look to stay perfect in Peacock games, winning the four previous games on the streaming service.
Notre Dame will then host USC in the annual Jeweled Shillelagh rivalry game, this season occurring on Oct. 18 at 7:30 PM ET on NBC. The matchup will mark the 96th meeting between Notre Dame and USC with the Irish leading the series 50-37-5. The Irish are 7-2 over the Trojans in the last nine meetings, including last year’s 49-35 Notre Dame victory in Los Angeles in the regular season finale.
On Nov. 8, Notre Dame and Navy meet for the first time under the lights at Notre Dame Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM ET on NBC. Since 2011, the Rip Miller Trophy is awarded to the winner of the game. The trophy is named after Edgar “Rip” Miller, who played college football for Notre Dame and served as a longtime coach and administrator at Navy.
The 2025 Notre Dame home slate will conclude with a 3:30 PM ET Senior Day matchup versus Syracuse, broadcast on NBC.
