But in Kansas City, a barn burner between the Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals, as the Chiefs edged the Bengals 23-20. The Super Bowl is February 12th in Arizona.
Notre Dame women’s basketball was shorthanded for Sunday’s game at North Carolina State, and the Wolfpack made them pay in a 69-to-65 Notre Dame loss. Post player Lauren Ebo was not available for the Irish, and her size and presence was missed. The 7th ranked Irish came back to within two points with two and a half minutes to go, but could not close it out. Notre Dame is at Boston College this Thursday night.
A welcome win for the Irish men Saturday at Purcell Pavilion, as they dominated struggling Louisville from start to finish in a 76-62 win, breaking a four game losing streak. The men next play this Saturday at Purcell Pavilion against Wake Forest.
In the Big Ten Sunday, top ranked Purdue over Michigan State, 77-61. Michigan lost at Penn State, 83-61. On Saturday, Indiana downed Ohio State in Bloomington, 86-70.
Notre Dame hockey won games Friday and Saturday over Wisconsin, 5-to-3 and 3-to-1 at the Compton Family Ice Arena. The Irish will play this Friday and Saturday at Michigan State.
