The Colts had a great draft, headlined by first-round pick Tyler Warren, the former Penn State tight end. Indianapolis also picked former Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard in the sixth round.
Running back Jonathan Taylor returns after earning a second Pro Bowl berth and posting the fourth highest rushing total in the NFL in 2024.
The Colts had three receivers eclipse 800 yards receiving last season in Michael Pittman Jr, Alec Pierce and Josh Downs. That marked just the second time in franchise history that occurred. They’re also the first wide receiver trio to each go over 800 receiving yards in a season since 2021.
The defense is now guided by new defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, who spent the last six years in Cincinnati and developed a reputation as one of the best game-planning coordinators in the NFL.
